Jonathan has a unique mix of complex transaction, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution experience, with his most substantial areas of expertise involving various commercial real estate transactions and the resolution of disputes involving real estate and construction related matters.
Jonathan's clients seek his transaction and deal making expertise when acquiring, financing, selling, constructing, and developing commercial real estate.
Jonathan also serves as an Arbitrator and Mediator of complex business, construction, and real estate related disputes; including the resolution of matters referred from different trial courts and service as a panel member for the American Arbitration Association since 2008.
Jonathan's achievements and reputation have earned him the coveted and highest AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell for 15 consecutive years, in addition to recognition for many years as a “Super Lawyer” in New York and New Jersey.
Prior to starting his own firm, Jonathan was a Director and Partner at McCusker, Anselmi, Rosen and Carvelli, where he managed the firm's real estate practice for five years. Previously, he was a Partner in the New York City Office of Fischbein Badillo Wagner Harding and an Associate with the national law firm of Lowenstein Sandler.
Before becoming an attorney, Jonathan worked as a Legislative Assistant in the New York State Assembly.
